Aramark is proud to support World Safety and Health Day 2020.
As you know, Aramark would normally celebrate our employees and their achievements in elevating the importance of safety across the global business. However, given the current climate, we wanted to do something more impactful. This World Day for Safety and Health at Work focuses on addressing the outbreak of infectious diseases at work, with a clear focus on the current COVID-19 Pandemic.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, our business has responded and adapted to a new normal. This was not easily achieved, nor clearly defined, and the safety & risk management team extends a heartfelt thank you for everything our employees and clients have done throughout the crisis.
At Aramark Offshore, we are fully focused on ensuring the Health & Safety of our colleagues and clients at all times. We understand the importance of continually improving and implementing measures for health and safety, especially in the offshore sector where the requirements continually evolve.
During this unprecedented time, we have seen the need to react promptly, collaborating closely with our colleagues, clients and partners across the globe to revise our Health & Safety measures to ensure we are taking the appropriate precautions to ensure the safety of all, at all times.
We have demonstrated our full commitment to Target Zero – No Harm to People or to the Environment. The collective efforts across our team exemplify Aramark’s resilience and ability to rise up in this time of great need—for each other, for our clients and customers, and for the communities we serve.
This World Safety and Health Day, we’re extending a heartfelt thank you to our team members, for everything they have done to protect each other, our clients and customers, and the communities we serve. Thank you for reinforcing the importance of proper hand and respiratory hygiene, clean and sanitary workplaces, and proper social distancing.
